Speaking of BTC and future ETH/sETH, I think that on-chain DEX can handle this no problem. Just swap to WBTC/ETH and then buy lowest ratio token to deposit.
Seems fine to keep it simpler. Also will require more gas for everyone who wants to withdraw if they have to unstake it from a gauge.
