I don’t know, I see that as breaking the purpose of the time lock, which forces the voter to have a long term perspective. If the majority of voters are yveCRV in the future, they’d be voting knowing they can sell their voting right whenever.
I see Curve team is pushing for the vote to delegate back to existing veCRV, curve emergency DAO or something. I don’t think it’s realistic to expect yearn to give up the votes it manages to attract. Votes are power. But hey, that’d be great for curve if yearn can be convinced the voting is too much trouble. It would avert a potential takeover
